This week's recipe spotlight
Better Homes and Garden's "Dark Chocolate Banana Nut Pops"
Summertime deserves light, no-bake goodies - and this recipe doesn't disappoint. This recipe just begs the kids to come help!
Fresh bananas, dark chocolate, and treat sticks from the cake aisle are all you need to get started. Can't have or don't like nuts? Go with sprinkles or mini-marshmallows. Don't like dark chocolate? Milk or semi-sweet work too! Hmmm...what other fruit sounds good to you? Everything is more fun on a stick.

A new Christmas craft to try!
Here is one reason to have Christmas on your mind even when the temps get waaaaay up there. Often the cutest Christmas decorations use items you find during other seasons. I just LOVE these outdoor oversized ornaments. They use those large kids play balls you find everywhere in the summer - you know in those tall rope cages at the big box stores for $2 now, but once the weather cools, they're gone. You probably have the other items already around the house. Such a neat idea and a great project with the kids! Enjoy! HUGS!

What does Mrs. Claus do?? Everything Christmas - story telling, baking cookies, decorating the tree, helping Santa with the Naughty & Nice list, singing carols with the elves, making sure the reindeer are prepped and ready for the big night!
